Rome (Italy). The Central Commission of the Higher Studies Institutions of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (ISS-FMA) announces the opening, from 5 September to 12 December 2024, of the competitions for the creation of the anthem and logo of the IV World Meeting of the ISS-FMA, which will be held from 9 to 13 March 2026, in the Philippines.
The event, which will have as its theme “Empowerment of young people to be protagonists of social change”, is an opportunity for all students and educators of Higher Education Institutions to express their creativity and competence. It also offers the academic communities a concrete opportunity to involve young people and educators in deepening the educative mission of the ISS-FMA in a synodal style.
The music should reflect the theme of youth empowerment and the active role of young people in promoting social change. The composition may be presented in different musical genres and must be original and unpublished.
The logotype must visually represent the theme of the World Meeting, be easily recognizable and usable on different media, bearing the number IV of the edition of the World Meeting in evidence. It will also express the dynamism of ISS-FMA, in line with the charismatic values of the FMA Institute.
The ISS-FMA Central Commission, which will select the works, has already sent all Higher Education Institutions the letter of introduction and the rules of the competitions, with all information to be shared with the academic communities.
Institutions are encouraged to spread this initiative among students and faculty, stimulating active participation in the competitions as a unique opportunity to show talent and commitment to the ISS-FMA network.
