Arteaga (Mexico). On November 5-9, 2018 at Mary Help of Christians Spirituality House in Arteaga, the formation seminar for Animators and Province Councilors took place on the theme ‘Guided by the Spirit’ led by Fr. José Cristo Rey García Paredes, a Claretian priest. The Animators and Province Councilors from the Mexican Provinces MME and MMO were there for the occasion of the Celebration for the 125th Anniversary of FMA presence in Mexico and the 50th Anniversary of Mother of the Church Province (MMO).
It was an illuminating and enriching experience that invited us to live with love and passion the mission entrusted to us in the conviction that ‘another community is possible’ with the power and action of the Holy Spirit.
They were intense days of shared reflection, of change, of dreaming, and of planning together to live the joy of fraternity.
A meaningful moment was the visit of a group of students from Valle Arizpe Institute and of the dance group that presented music and dances.
The encounter was preceded by two formation days for the sisters of the MMO Province on the theme, ‘Covenant and Evangelical Counsels’ also held by Fr. José Cristo Rey García Paredes whose presence in both seminars was much appreciated for his depth and knowledge of problems and also for his witness of dedication and simplicity as a man of God.
