Medellin (Colombia). On February 15, 2019, the Directors of the Salesian Schools of Higher Education of Colombia met at the Provincial House of St. Mary Mazzarello Province (CMM) to plan for the 3rd World Meeting of Institutions of Higher Education (ISS-FMA) that will take place in Medellín on September 27-29, 2019.
The theme of the 3rd World Meeting is: “Network” among the various Institutions of Higher Studies: requests and challenges for education today, in the perspective of Salesian pedagogical humanism.
Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Mother General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, entrusted to the four Colombian Provinces the preparation of the 3rd World Meeting of ISS-FMA. She believes that the network between the schools makes the charism visible, guarantees a culturally qualified presence, and opens vast horizons in the field of education.
The meeting of exchange and reflection, of familiarity and joy, strengthened the bonds of communion and encouraged the achievement of joint work experiences all over the world.
The Directors, working remotely with Sister Ivonne Goulart, Collaborator of the General Councilor for Youth Ministry, planned the commissions and set the tasks and dates for the forthcoming preparatory meetings.
