North Haledon (New Jersey). From 4 to 6 November 2022, nineteen FMA Temporary Professed from the Provinces of Mary Immaculate (SUO) and Saint Joseph (SEC), from the United States and Canada, gathered at Mary Help of Christians Academy in North Haledon for the annual meeting of the Temporary Professed of the NAC Interprovincial Conference.
Present at the meeting were Sr. Runita Borja, General Councilor for Youth Ministry, visiting the SEC Province; the Provincials, Sr. Joanne Holloman SEC, and Sr. Rosann Ruiz, SUO; and the formators, Sr. Louann Fantauzza (SEC) and Sr. Sandra Neaves (SUO) who accompanied the Temporary Professed.
During the weekend, Sr. Runita spoke several times to the young FMA with presentations on Youth Ministry, on the main points of the Guidelines for the Educational Mission of the FMA (LOME), on the fundamental principles of Laudato Si,’ and on living the Salesian mission according to the Constitutions.
The weekend was also characterized by moments of prayer, recreation, and fraternity among the Temporary Professed who thank God for this regenerating experience of communion between sisters and hope to be able to meet again soon.
