San Paolo (Brazil). On 15 September 2024, the Youth Pastoral Coordinators of the Brazilian Provinces met in São Paulo, at Colégio Santa Inês of O. L. Aparecida Province (BAP). The meeting had the objective of promoting moments of reflection and planning on the pastoral journey as an CIB Interprovincial Conference.

Sister Sarah Garcia, FMA, Director of the Human Rights Office at the International Institute of Mary Help of Christians (IIMA) in Geneva was also present during the day. Sister Sarah presented some of the projects carried out in the field of human rights and stressed the importance of political advocacy, carried out through some actions and good practices.

Sister Paola Battagliola, Visiting Councilor of the FMA Institute, was also present at the meeting and left a message to the group on the importance of vocation animation in youth ministry.

In addition to being a moment dedicated to pastoral planning, the meeting was characterized by fraternity, the sense of belonging to the Institute and, above all, the desire to respond to the requests of today’s young people with enthusiasm and charismatic fidelity.
