Alassio (Italy). From 29 December to 1 January 2025, a group of families belonging to ADMA Piemonte, about 80 people, lived the end of the year in Alassio, in the province of Savona, at “Our Lady of the Angels” structure with time to reflect, to pray, to live the sacrament of reconciliation, and to be together as a family with a Christian style.
Fr. Roberto Carelli, Salesian of Don Bosco, accompanied the families in their reflection on the liturgical prefaces for the Christmas season. For adults, the days were marked by moments of common prayer, serene sharing, and self-management of silence.
For the children of the nursery and primary schools, the mornings were enlivened by the middle school students, who organized team games, leaving time for free play.
Sister Lucrecia Uribe, Daughter of Mary Help of Christians, ADMA World Animator, had the opportunity to meet with the children and young people to experience a moment of reflection and prepare the gratitude action during the Te Deum.
After lunch, each family was invited to spend their free time together in different ways: in nature and on the beach, or with friends and relatives.
A moment of strong communion between parents and children was the Salesian Tombolata, which generated a climate of spontaneity, joy, and simplicity.
The toast, the fireworks, and the Magnificat united the hearts of young and old in giving thanks for God’s action in the life of the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), marking the passage towards the new year 2025 in joy.
