Turin (Italy) On 5 July 2020, St. Joseph Community of Turin, of the Piedmontese Province Mary Help of Christians, celebrated with Sr. Antonietta Perussato, her 100 years of life. present at the celebration were her nieces and nephews from Montebelluna, Treviso, the Provincial Vicar, Sr. Emma Bergandi, and other Daughters of Mary Help of Christians from the Province Communities.
During the homily of the Eucharistic Celebration of Gratitude to God for the life given and the fidelity of Sr. Antonietta, the Salesian Fr. Paolo Merlo, her countryman, highlighted her maternal heart through recounting the small gestures of fraternity that she did. The word ‘thank you’ was the one most repeated by the celebrated one, happy and grateful for what she experienced during this day.
