Catania (Italy) On May 12, 2020, Mary Help of Christians Community of Catania, of the Sicilian Province Mother Maddalena Morano (ISI), celebrated Sister Domenica Polimeni who turned 100 years old. The day opened with the Eucharistic celebration, to give praise to the Lord for the gift of the life and religious vocation of Sister Domenica.
The Provincial Community joined in giving thanks with Sister Domenica for the virtues she received, gained, and gave back to the young people and to the Congregation with determination and openness in the offering of herself, first in an active and pastoral way, now with contemplation and with the apostolate of prayer.
Following there were the greetings from the Provincial, Sister Maria Pisciotta, and the Animator, amid the applause and songs from the sisters of the Community to celebrate the milestone reached.
Happy birthday dear sr. Domenica. We rejoice and give thanks for your wonderful life as an FMA. You are an inspiration for all of uf.
