Ikorodu (Nigeria). El 26 de junio de 2021, en la Parroquia de S. Agustín de Ikorodu, se llevó a cabo el Curso de Animadores organizado por las Hijas de María Auxiliadora de la Inspectoría África Oeste Madre de Dios (AFO) presentes en Nigeria.
El tema del encuentro de Formación, en el cual participaron más de 50 animadores de las parroquias del Decanato de Ikorodu era: “Sistema Preventivo, Pedagogía educativa y Espiritualidad para la educación de los niños hoy”.
En la jornada estaban presentes don Basil Okoro, Decano del Decanato de Ikorodu, don Francis, Capellán de la Asociación de la Infancia Misionera (MCA), don Livinus Orakwe, Claretiano de la Parroquia de S. Agustín.
Sor Justine Egbedike Oluchi, FMA, animó el encuentro formativo con el método educativo salesiano, a través de la enseñanza, el compartir entre i con los/las jóvenes y el trabajo en grupo, para llevar concretamente a los animadores y animadoras a comprender la importancia del Sistema Preventivo. Los/las jóvenes vivieron un tiempo de trabajo en los grupos con actividades prácticas sobre la aplicación del Sistema Preventivo con los niños.
Al final del encuentro de Formación, animadores y animadoras expresaron su gratitud a Dios y a las Hijas de María Auxiliadora por la experiencia vivida.
La Comunidad FMA- compuesta por sor Jacqueline George, sor Justine Egbedike Oluche y sor Dieudonne Jean Louis – hizo la entrada oficial en Ikorodu-Lagos en Nigeria, en la Archidiócesis de Lagos, el 15 de noviembre de 2019, en respuesta a las peticiones de los Obispos locales. Para responder a las necesidades educativas y formativas de los /las jóvenes nigerianos/as colabora para las actividades pastorales y el acompañamiento de grupos de jóvenes y niños en la Parroquia de S. Agustín, para la animación vocacional y el oratorio.
Con la presencia de las FMA, el carisma educativo de S. Juan Bosco y de S. María Domenica Mazzarello se difunde en Nigeria, para que las/los jóvenes conozcan a Jesús y vivan la vida en plenitud.

It was a commendable experience. Glad to have been part of it.
All praise and thanksgiving to God for his work in the lives and the souls of the Youth through this beautiful charism. We pray that they animator may take to heart whatever they have learnt and let it fructify wherever they will be among the poorer ones as a sign, an expression and a radiant of Hope.

What a joy today to see the Missionary Childhood Association (MCA) in Archdiocese of Lagos been formed with our Preventive System method given to us by St. John Bosco and St. Mary Dominica mazzarello.
Long live Daughters of Mary help of Christians ( AFO) province, long live Nigerian youths and children, especially the poorer ones.
